Bio

John Weiburg is a Professional Engineer and an ASHI Certified Inspector who has been inspecting houses on Long Island, NY since 2004. John is the current President of the Long Island ASHI Chapter. John owns and operates GreenLInk Home Inspections, LLC and GreenTauk Engineering, PLLC. John has taught Home Inspection Licensing and Continuing Education classes at Molloy College in Rockville Centre, NY since 2006 and was a presenter at the 2015 (Philadelphia), 2018 (Orlando) and 2020 (New Orleans) ASHI National Conventions and at the 2019 Canadian National Home Inspector Convention. GreenTauk Engineering designs plans for elevating houses on Long Island due to the devastating effects of Hurricane Sandy. John has a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's Degree in Environmental Technology. He has performed many storm damage assessments and is considered a Flood Zone specialist. John has been an Expert Witness on House Elevations and Storm Damaged Houses.
